Form R40 available to claim overpaid tax.

Form R40 is an informal “self-assessment” return which enables individuals with taxable income from a variety of sources to report the details and ask HMRC to determine what their tax liabilities are. It is a good tool to use for employees who have had earnings from two or more employers and believe that they may have overpaid tax. A full set of guidance notes is also available.
